Adidas Deodorant

Marketing Campaign

This is a marketing campaign done in my first year, where my lecturer chose deodorant as the marketing product and different teams get to select different brands. My team chose Adidas. We decided upon Adidas because we wanted to challenge ourselves to market a brand that is not recognised for its deodorant. Adidas is recognised for products like apparels and shoes, but never about its deodorant.

 

My group's idea was to make use of Adidas' strong brand endorsements by celebrities to market their deodorant among the other popular deodorant brands. We designed Adidas women's deodorant bottles similar to apparels that carry the Rita Ora's style of prints.

For the 6-month campaign, there were also ideas to tie in with events and holidays. I came up with the idea of a "Deo-fan", which is the combination design of deodorant and fan, to be given to the public as part of the National Day goodie pack, thus reaching out to more people to know about Adidas' deodorant.
